Lets your local AI agents use PressedMail over the Model Context Protocol.

== Description ==

This connector adds a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to your site that speaks directly to PressedMail. Point a local agent (Claude Code, Cursor, or any MCP client) at the endpoint and the agent can use the PressedMail operations you allow, as your own user, with PressedMail's own permission and mailbox ownership checks.

**Requires the PressedMail plugin.**

The endpoint:

`https://your-site.example/wp-json/pressedmail-mcp/v1/mcp`

Authentication is a WordPress Application Password: create one in your WordPress profile (Users, Profile, Application Passwords) and have your agent send it as the HTTP Basic user and password over HTTPS. The agent can do exactly what that user could do in PressedMail, and no more.

The connector currently exposes PressedMail's reviewed read-only operations (tags). Wider inbox and campaign operations arrive as each handler is reviewed; that is deliberate, an agent surface should not outgrow what has been checked.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate the PressedMail plugin.
2. Install and activate this connector.
3. Create an Application Password in your WordPress profile.
4. Add the endpoint above to your MCP client with the Application Password as HTTP Basic credentials.

* First scaffold: MCP Streamable HTTP endpoint, Application Password authentication, reviewed tag read tools.
